Paul Thievon graduated from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA with a Bachelor’s degree in Ornamental Horticulture in 1988. While on breaks from his studies and for three years following graduation, Paul was employed by Garden State Florist in Warren, NJ gaining valuable experience in all areas of landscape operations. This included growing horticultural products, managing customer relations both on wholesale and retail levels and gaining experience in design concepts for landscaping projects.
In 1991, Paul joined McHutchison Horticultural Distributors in a sales role. He quickly became one of the company’s top sales representatives with customers throughout the Garden State. Once he was confident that he had gained all the experience necessary to expand his career, he decided to take all of this knowledge and found his own company. His goal was to expand his customer base and provide quality product at competitive prices, while continuing to increase the level of service provided to those customers.
Thievon Horticultural Products, LLC was officially opened in 2006 and, despite some tough economic times, has grown over the past 14 years to be one of the most respected organizations in the industry.
